GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski aren't waiting until Super Bowl XLIX to square off, as the pair of Pro Bowlers recently visited with Conan O'Brien to face each other in a game of Mortal Kombat X -- and clarify the difference between Lipitor and Viagra.
The Super Bowl rivals do battle as Mortal Kombat mainstay Kano and new character Ferra/Torr, although it is unclear which player is which character. The outcome isn't revealed in the minute-long preview for Thursday night's full segment, but it appears that doesn't particularly matter, as in a matter of seconds the threesome quickly devolves into three grown men giggling at each others' on-the-fly inside jokes.
"What you on?" Beast Mode whispers to O'Brien as the late-night host beat-boxes over Mortal Kombat.
"I'm on Lipitor," O'Brien jokes, adding "That's my drug of choice."
"Lipitor, get yours today -- I get free money that way."
"I don't even know what Lipitor is," Gronkowski interjects.
"Me neither, but I like his style, man," adds an excited Lynch.
After tossing around potential slogans for the blood-pressure medication, Gronkowski confidently points to the camera and declares, "Lipitor, if it's harder for four hours, call a doctor!" confusing Lipitor with erectile dysfunction medications such as Viagra and Cialis.
"Clueless Gamer Big Game Showdown: Lynch vs. Gronk" will air during Thursday's episode of Conan on TBS.
Mortal Kombat X will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on April 14.
