NEW YORK, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Marylin Manson says he and Courtney Love have never feuded.

The 46-year-old rocker tried to squash rumors about his relationship with Love during a recent interview with Esquire where he was asked if the two had "buried the hatchet."

"We never really had a falling out," Manson said of the former Hole singer, whom he toured with in the winter of 1998. "We've always been weird with each other, because she's slept with pretty much every one of my friends, supposedly. Not me, though."

According to Mason, Love once got mad a him because "he didn't want to sleep with her and because [he] was smarter than her."

When the 50-year-old singer learned about Manson's comments she took to Twitter to set to record straight.

"Omg @marilynmanson all this time thought u're gay. Of course I'll [expletive] you," she wrote on Wednesday. "Im free Fri from 1:15 to 1:18 gives us plenty time 4 a smoke too x"

Manson and Love recently reunited as they both guest starred on the final season of FX's Sons of Anarchy. According to the rocker, they never had scenes together, but did run into each other at a red carpet event.

"I saw her on the red carpet," he said of "Her dress broke, and I said, 'You okay? Your [expletive] didn't show, did it?' and she said, 'No,' and I went, 'Thank God! That would've been horrible!' That was the only time I [expletive] with her. Other than that, I'm cool with Courtney."
