"[The baby is] moving all the time. I can feel it kicking now," Middleton told student Martina McDonagh, 17, according to Us Weekly.

"I told her I hoped it was a girl, but she said she doesn't know yet," McDonagh told the publication. "She said it was moving around a lot."

Family Friends is a British charity founded in 1993 to support disadvantaged families.

The Duchess of Cambridge meets volunteers at Family Friends in Kensington. Volunteers are central to Family Friends. Family Friends carefully recruits, trains and matches volunteers with parents, children or adolescents. Its volunteers offer long-term practical and emotional help based on each family's unique needs and potential. They meet the family in their home, once a week for two hours and pledge a year's commitment. Family Friends' staff back up their work with on-going supervision and family feedback interviews. Volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and are carefully selected for their qualities of warmth, empathy and understanding. Family Friends is looking for more volunteers to provide support to families in West London, male volunteers are particularly needed.
