LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Paris Hilton may hire a nanny for new puppy Princess Paris, Jr.

The 33-year-old socialite bought two micro-teacup Pomeranians for a reported $25,000, and gifted one to mother Kathy Hilton for her 35th wedding anniversary. One source told Page Six the star was joking about finding an au pair, but another insisted the puppy needs a caretaker.

"She is thinking about getting the dog its own nanny," the insider revealed. "It's so small she needs someone to feed it as if it were a newborn baby."

Hilton introduced Princess Paris, Jr., by making the dog her own Instagram page, and attended the World Dog Awards with the pup and 6-month-old Pomeranian Prince Hilton on Saturday. Her older pet took away awards for A-List Dog and Celebrity Dog Selfie.

Hilton is owner to eight dogs now in total, including a $13,000 Pomeranian named Mr. Amazing. The socialite launched a new fragrance, "With Love, Paris Hilton," in November, and has earned over $2 billion from her perfume line alone in the last 10 years.
