NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Actor Bradley Cooper revealed on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday that he was involved with facilitating Barack Obama's visit to Zack Galifianakis' comedy segment Between Two Ferns last year.

President Obama visited Galifianakis' Funny or Die show in March of 2014 in an attempt to advertise his health care reform bill -- the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamcare -- to a younger generation.

Cooper, promoting his upcoming biopic American Snipper, revealed to Stern he suggested that the president visited the show as a way to reach young people while speaking to White House senior adviser Valerie Jarret at en event.

"You actually facilitated a moment in history," Stern told Cooper after the revelation.

The actor later added that Galifianakis, who co-starred with him on the Hangover films, is likely "going to kill [him]" for the disclosure. According to Forbes, Obama's appearance on the show was credited by former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and others as "a key reason for a bump in enrollment last spring."
