Alison Pill shows off new engagement ring on Instagram

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Canadian actress Alison Pill showed off her new engagement ring from her beau, U.S. actor Joshua Leonard, in an Instagram photo this weekend.

The couple began dating after Pill broke up with her longtime boyfriend Jay Baruchel in early 2013.

"Let's do this, 2015!!!! @thejoshualeonard," Pill captioned Saturday's outdoor photo of herself and Leonard, wearing jackets, hats and sunglasses, with huge grins on their faces.

The actress is holding up her left hand to display the diamond ring.

There was no word on whether the pair have set a wedding date.

Pill recently starred in the TV series The Newsroom. Leonard is known for his work in the films The Blair Witch Project and If I Stay.
