Tara Reid shares skinny bikini photos from Mexico

TULUM, Mexico, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Tara Reid caused concern by posting a number of bikini photos this week on Instagram.

The 39-year-old actress is on vacation in Mexico with her boyfriend, and shared several pictures from the beaches of Tulum. Reid's slim appearance in the snapshots has raised eyebrows among fans over her weight.

"Tara, please look after yourself," one user wrote in the comments. "I write this without jealousy or hate, just genuine concern. Your figure resembles that of someone underfed in a lot of these pics."

Reid previously caused controversy by posting bikini photos from Palm Springs in November. The actress defended her weight to TMZ, saying, "I'm just a small boned girl ... so if you wanna get mad at me cause I'm skinny, go ahead. I am what I am."

Reid is known for such films as American Pie and Josie and the Pussycats, and last appeared in Sharknado 2. She and her American Pie co-star, Jason Biggs, got in a spat in June after the actor declared, "No one knows what's going on with Tara's body."
