LONDON, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Mel B denied in an Instagram post Sunday reports that her husband of seven years, Stephen Belafonte, abuses her.

Rumors that the former Spice Girl's marriage was in trouble began earlier this month when she was spotted sans her wedding ring and with bruises and scratches on her body on the set of The X Factor U.K., where she serves as judge, after missing a previous episode over an unexpected visit to the hospital.
