LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Singer Ashlee Simpson is expecting her first child with new husband Evan Ross.
The child will be the second for Simpson, who shares 6-year-old Bronx Mowgli with ex-husband Pete Wentz. The baby will be a first for singer and actor Ross, who is the son of Diana Ross.

Ross, 26, recently appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and released a new single, "How to Live Alone."
Last month he told E! News he'd like to have children with Simpson.
"As many as possible," he said. "I got married, I have new music and I'm part of Hunger Games. It's been a great year."
The couple married Aug. 31.
