Anne Hathaway, Nikki Reed and other celebs join forces in 'Let Girls Learn' PSA

The campaign is a new effort by the U.S. Agency for International Development and looks to "provide the public with meaningful ways to help all girls to get a quality education."

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Anne Hathaway, Alicia Keys, Josh Duhamel, Chris Colfer, Jennifer Garner and other stars joined forces for young girls around the world in a new PSA encouraging people to #LetGirlsLearn.

The campaign is a new effort by the U.S. Agency for International Development and looks to "provide the public with meaningful ways to help all girls to get a quality education."

In the star-packed PSA, celebrities like James Van Der Beek, Nikki Reed, Kelly Osbourne, Lance Bass and Moby discuss some of the most cruel acts of violence suffered from girls around the world this year -- including the mass kidnapping of hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls -- and offer statistics on how one more year of education can impact a young woman's life.

Julie Bowen, Julie Delpy, Susan Sarandon, Darren Criss, DeAndre Jordan and Denise Richards are also in the clip.
