LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Angelina Jolie was photographed in an awkward embrace with Sony's co-chairman Amy Pascal Wednesday, days after leaked emails unveiled the actress was insulted by Pascal and producer Scott Rudin.
The women's rendez-vous took place at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Power 100 breakfast in Los Angeles, just two days after Gawker published a series of correspondences between Pascal and Rudin in which Jolie was dubbed a "minimally talented spoiled brat." A photo of the encounter finds Pascal approaching the actress as she stares back with a serious face.

The hacked emails mainly feature a correspondence between Pascal and Rudin about the ever-upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, which was dropped by Sony in November after multiple hiccups with casting.
In the emails, Rudin asks Pascal to "shut down Angie" before she tries to persuade director David Fincher to abandon the Jobs project to direct her upcoming drama, Cleopatra.
Pascal and Rudin have issued a public apology for the comments made in the leaked correspondences, which also targeted President Barack Obama.
