LAS VEGAS, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Miranda Lambert is happy she's maintained her 20-pound weight loss.

The 31-year-old singer discussed her body in an interview for the January issue of Marie Claire. Lambert dropped the weight last year, and told the magazine her live performances keep her motivated to keep the pounds off.

"When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your [expletive]'s not jiggling," she admitted. "I'm just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized."

"Everybody's making this big, giant thing about it," she said of media attention to her weight. "It's way too much focus on women's bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they've got going on."

Lambert last released her fifth studio album, Platinum, in June. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and includes the singles "Automatic" and "Something' Bad." Platinum is up for Best Country Album and "Automatic" for Best Country Song at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
