Pottermore to release 12 Harry Potter Christmas stories

One of the stories will likely follow Draco Malfoy.

LONDON, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- The website Pottermore will be giving Harry Potter fans 12 days of gifts in the form of one short story a day written by series author J.K. Rowling.

The first story will be published Dec. 12 and the final story Dec. 23. Each day, visitors to the website will answer a riddle to read the story. The stories are said to contain moments from Half-Blood Prince and maybe even "a potion or two."

"We're feeling extra generous this year, so we're bringing you early gifts this Christmas. Starting Friday, December 12, we'll be releasing a festive surprise for you every day at 1pm GMT (8am EST)," Pottermore announced.

The Telegraph reported one of the stories is expected to follow the life of Harry Potter's nemesis Draco Malfoy after he leaves Hogwarts and turns away from the dark arts.
