LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Actress Loni Anderson is auctioning all the gifts she received from her ex-husband Burt Reynolds in order to raise money for her family.

The items include jewels, fur coats, articles of clothing -- including Anderson's dress from her wedding to the actor -- and paintings.

"He loved art so he would go pick out a favorite artist and then he would commission them to do a portrait of me," Anderson told Entertainment Weekly. "So pretty soon, there are a lot of portraits of me."

Sixty five of Anderson's personal items will go on sale Friday at the Julien's Auctions Beverly Hills. The auction will end Saturday.

News of Anderson's auction comes less than a week after Reynolds revealed he was auctioning up to 700 personal items because he "simply [does] not have use nor room for them anymore."

"We've been dealing with thinking about scaling back, what are we going to do with all our stuff?" Anderson said of her and Reynolds' decision to auction their belongings. "So what are you going to do? Share it."
