Jessica Simpson debuts platinum blonde hair

NEW YORK, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Jessica Simpson has managed to go even blonder.

The 34-year-old designer bleached her already blonde hair an even lighter shade of platinum Monday. Simpson visited friend and stylist Rita Hazan at her salon in New York, and posted a photo of her new look on Instagram.

"Nothing like a Monday bleach out by one of my besties @ritahazan #vickycristinabarcelona," she captioned the picture. The hashtag refers to her and Hazan's blonde and brunette tresses mirroring Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall's in the Woody Allen film.

Simpson spent Thanksgiving weekend with husband Eric Johnson and their two children. The couple married in July, and have a two-year-old daughter, Maxwell, and one-year-old son, Ace. She posted a picture Wednesday of Maxwell and Ace from Lake Austin that received over 35,000 likes.

Simpson last released a holiday album, Happy Christmas, in 2010. She has launched numerous fashion lines, including the Jessica Simpson Collection, since the early 2000s, and has released several perfumes with Parlux Fragrances.
