LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Idina Menzel has suggested that a sequel to Frozen, the highest-grossing animated film of all time, is on its way.

The 43-year-old singer and actress -- who sings Frozen's Academy Award-winning hit, "Let It Go" -- told The Telegraph on Friday that a rumored Frozen 2 is "in the works."

"They're all in the works, ha ha!" Menzel said of a possible sequel and stage adaptation.

"Ah, yeah sure," Menzel said when asked if she had signed on for either project. "Not the stage show -- I don't know what will happen with that -- but the movie hopefully. We'll see."

"I'm just going along for the ride," she added.

Menzel voiced the character of Snow Queen Elsa, whose kingdom endures endless winter.

Frozen grossed more than $1.2 billion worldwide after it hit theaters in 2013. It went on to win two Oscar Awards -- one for Best Original Song and another for Best Animated Feature.
