LAS VEGAS, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- If you're looking for the blue leather boots Burt Reynolds wore in his role as a sex-starved congressman in Striptease or an 8-foot-tall stuffed Kodiak bear that possibly stood in the star's living room, look no further than the actor's auction.

Reynolds, 78, is also auctioning off his 1998 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in Boogie Nights, Muhammad Ali's signed boxing gloves, at least four People's Choice Awards and a 1991 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor for his role in Evening Shade. The auction, which will take place Dec. 11 and 12, will be held at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and features more than 600 of Reynolds' personal items.

"I've collected so many things that I truly adore but at this stage of my life I find it very difficult to manage them all," he said in a statement released by Julien's Auctions.

The actor, a sex symbol and box office smash in the 1970s and 1980s, is said to be struggling after a series of bad investments and a 1993 divorce from actress Loni Anderson.

This isn't the actor's first bout with financial problems. His 1996 bankruptcy proceedings were finalized in 2007. In 2011, his Jupiter, Fla., home was foreclosed. He has been trying to sell his Hobe Sound, Fla., 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom property for years.

Also included in the auction is a customized 1997 Dodge Ram pickup and a motorized wedding stagecoach used in Reynolds' and Anderson's 1979 wedding. There are dozens of relics from his early football successes, wardrobe pieces from films that include Smokey and the Bandit II and The Longest Yard and signed gifts and photos from a variety of stars and politicians.
