LOS GATOS, Calif., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Tony Hawk appears in a new video promoting the Hendo hoverboard that made headlines in October.
"This is real, folks. This is the real hoverboard right here, so forget everything you know," he says. He only has one noticable spill on the board, and he accomplishes some daring spins.

He's riding the hoverboard at Arx Pax Labs in Los Gatos, Calif. It only works on certain surfaces, so he takes it for a spin on their copper ramp.
The Kickstarter campaign for the hoverboard has already raised over $450,000, and there are still 27 days left before it's over. The 11 slots available for being able to buy the board, at a price of $10,000 each, have already been purchased.
