Kristin Chenoweth splits from boyfriend Dana Brunetti

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth and her boyfriend producer Dana Brunetti have ended their relationship.

Sources close to the couple told Us Weekly "distance" played a big part in the split as the couple didn't have much time to spend together because of work and life commitments.

"Dana's career is jetting off right now, and Kristin travelled a lot already, and they just barely had time to see each other," said the insider. "He's producing House Of Cards now, speaking at conferences, and has to see his kid as well. Just didn't make sense for either party to continue."

Chenoweth, 46, and Brunetti, 41, were first linked in 2013, but the couple made their first public appearance at the Golden Globes in January. Brunetti was nominated for Captain Phillips.

While the specific date of the breakup remains unclear, sources say Brunetti may have already moved on and has been linked to 27-year-old actress Katie Cassidy.
