NEW YORK, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Valerie Bertinelli says she and Christina Aguilera never had a feud.

The 54-year-old actress explained her rumored beef with the 33-year-old singer Wednesday on Watch What Happens Live. Although Bertinelli clarified she and Aguilera didn't have an all-out conflict, the star did reveal the singer was rude to her at a concert.

"I did not have a feud with her," she asserted. "I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to her because she was at a Van Halen concert, and I said, 'Oh my God, I think you're a beautiful singer, blah, blah, blah,' and she just [made a dismissive gesture and] went, 'Yeah, whatever.'"

"She gave me the cold shoulder and I thought, 'Bitch, I'm a fan! You can't be nice to me?' You know?" she related. "I have not [seen her since]. She might have gotten better... but I heard she hasn't."

Aguilera released her seventh studio album, Lotus, in November 2012, and has mentored contestants on four seasons of NBC reality competition The Voice. The singer was replaced by Gwen Stefani on season seven as she takes maternity leave, but will return for season eight in 2015.
