LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Kaley Cuoco became an official Hollywood star on Wednesday as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Clad in a hot pink ensemble, the 28-year-old actress accepted the honor in the company of her Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg and Melissa Rauch. Her husband, tennis player Ryan Sweeting, was also in attendance at the event.
Cuoco, an avid social media user, took to Instagram after the fact to share the news with her 1.127 million followers.
"What a dream to have my [star] next to my sweet John Ritter. I think he's doing a little dance right now! I'm definitely being looked after," the actress wrote in one of the images she shared.
Cuoco rose to fame in the early 2000s while playing the role of Bridget Hennessy on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules, after the show was cancelled in 2005, she starred in the last season of Charmed as Billie Jenkins. The actress reached superstardom after lading a role on the Emmy-winning comedy series The Big Bang Theory, where she's played Penny since the show premiered in 2007.
