Amber Rose says Wiz Khalifa divorce is 'devastating'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Amber Rose says her divorce from Wiz Khalifa has been devastating.

The 31-year-old model opened up about the experience to Vibe at the wrap party for her film Sister Code. Rose stars as Lexi alongside Eva Marcille as Sheila and Drew Sidora as Lavae in the new movie.

"[It's] devastating," she told the magazine. "I mean, I'm human, you know? I'm going through a divorce. I love my husband, I miss him a lot. And yeah, [expletive] happens."

Rose's sentiments come just days after she and Khalifa established a friendly rapport on Twitter. Khalifa acknowledged Rose's birthday last Tuesday by tweeting, "Happy birthday Amb <3," and she responded, "Thank u Sweetheart #StillLoveYouNoMatterWhat."

Rose and Khalifa were together for three years, and married in July 2013. The model filed for divorce in September, and is seeking full custody of their one-year-old son, Sebastian. She has since been linked to Nick Simmons, the 25-year-old son of Kiss bassist Gene Simmons.
