Lena Dunham debuts mint green hair

NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Lena Dunham has new, green hair.

The 28-year-old actress visited stylist Tanner Bassett at Rheanne White salon Wednesday, and had her platinum blonde locks dyed mint green. Dunham posted a photo of her new look that day on Instagram, and followed up with a full-length picture Thursday.

"Newly minted for the Canadian leg of the tour," she captioned the snapshot.

Dunham is currently on tour to promote her book, Not That Kind of Girl. The actress will return as Hannah Horvath on season four of HBO series Girls in 2015, and recently signed on to adapt Karen Cushman young adult novel Catherine, Called Birdy for film.
