Nikki Sixx sells LA home for $2.4M

The Mediterranean-style house also features a swimming pool, a spa, and a barbecue station with a fireplace and pizza oven.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx has sold his LA home for $2.409 million.

The stone-clad pad is located in a gated community in Calabasas, according to the LA Times. The 4,500-square-foot home is set on one-third of an acre and includes an office, a loft, a music room, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The Mediterranean-style house also features a swimming pool, a spa, and a barbecue station with a fireplace and pizza oven. Sixx bought the property in 2011 for $1.89 million.

Sixx, 55, is best known for founding Motley Crue with drummer Tommy Lee in 1981 and Brides of Destruction in 2002. He's also worked on tracks for Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf, among others.
