Nick Cannon 'has no part' in Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa's divorce

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Nick Cannon would like to distance himself from Amber Rose's divorce from Wiz Khalifa.

The 33-year-old comedian has been named as a possible reason behind the couple's recent split, but sources close to Cannon told TMZ he did not have an affair with the model.

Insiders claim Cannon "only learned about Amber's domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he signed her on as a client." Later on, the two reportedly bonded over their break-up stories.

Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa on Sept. 22, after only one year of marriage. Since then both spouses have been accusing each other of being unfaithful. Sources say Rose and the rapper had been living in separate homes for weeks at the time the divorce papers were filed. The filing was reportedly triggered by an unexpected house visit in which Rose found her husband with another woman.

Cannon confirmed he and singer Mariah Carey are splitting after six years of marriage in August.
