LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A new series of racy photos of female celebrities was leaked online over the weekend featuring the likes of Gabrielle Union, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Meagan Good, Hayden Panettiere and many more.

The nude and semi-nude images, most of which are selfies, come less than a month after the FBI started investigating the leak of hundreds of intimate celebrity photos stolen from several actresses' iCloud accounts including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Kirsten Dunst.

While it was initially unclear if the new set of photos were in fact real, Good and Union confirmed the leaks by sharing statements on the subject.

"I'm definitely in shock," Good said in an Instagram post on Sunday. "Saddened for everyone who is experiencing this ... but I 'choose' not to give the persons responsible my power ... At the end of the day, we all know these pictures were for my husband."

Union shared a similar message where she sent her love support and prayers to "anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes."

"We have done nothing wrong," she added. "While they may have stripped us of our right to privacy, they cannot take our strength, dignity or our voice."

Though authorities have not yet made any arrests or seem to have any suspects in the hacking incidents, Apple revealed after the first leaked images came out that hackers obtained access to the celebrities accounts by correctly guessing their password through "Phishing" -- the act of posing as someone who has forgotten their username and password.
