HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Even when it's over 2,700 miles away, actor and tabloid star Charlie Sheen has found a way to insert himself into national controversy.

After Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy infamously tipped $0.20 at Philadelphia-based bar and restaurant PYT, Sheen stepped in and pledged $1,000 to to McCoy's spurned server.
