EVANSTON, Ill., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Molly Glynn died at age 46 on Saturday.

The actress was biking with her husband, Joe Foust, in Erickson Woods outside Chicago when the couple were caught in a sudden storm on Friday. Glynn was struck by a falling tree, and died the next day at Evanston NorthShore Hospital. Friends immediately put together a memorial trust in Glynn's name for Foust on GiveFoward, and have raised over $126,000 thus far.

"Molly would be so grateful to all of you," Foust wrote Sunday on Facebook. "I couldn't still be here without that support network. I would have laid down next to her and died. I will continue to struggle to find love and joy and goodness."

Glynn acted in theater for years, and also had roles in television. She portrayed an ER doctor on NBC drama Chicago Fire, and also appeared on CBS series Early Edition and Starz's Boss.
