Jill Scott says she 'will not be bowed' over nude photo leak

The singer admitted she took the picture in the robe, but said the full-frontal photo is not of her.

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Jill Scott addressed her nude photo leak Wednesday on Twitter.

Two supposed pictures of the 42-year-old singer began circulating after the celebrity photo hack, but Scott said only one of the snapshots is of her.

"I def took the 1st pic w/ a robe; weight loss chronicle but the 2nd, sorry freaks, is not me," she tweeted. "I wish I had that space between my thighs."

Scott took to Twitter again on Thursday to address the leak and issues of privacy, and asserted she "will not be bowed."

"I did nothing wrong & nothing that was YOUR snake concern," she wrote. "My photo was hacked; my PRIVACY INVADED."

"You are not part of my village therefore making your attempt to harm me null," she continued. "I'm not even delayed. Shame for spreading. Shame 4 adding."

Scott went on to express her "love" and "appreciat[ion]" for her body, and thanked her "Love Village" for their "empathy," for "KNOWING better" and for "speaking up." The singer urged those perpetuating the leak to move toward the "light" and away from "stilted satisfaction."

Scott released her fourth studio album, The Light of the Sun, in 2011.
