Portwood came to fame on MTV's 16 & Pregnant in 2009, and was one of the original stars of spinoff series Teen Mom. She is mother to daughter Leah Leann, and was imprisoned for drug possession in 2012. Portwood served 17 months of a five-year sentence, and was released from jail early for good behavior. The tell-all memoir will go behind the scenes of 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom, and reveal more about her stay behind bars.

"I had been thinking about writing a book since my stay in prison," she shared. "I felt it was time when I got out to actually do it. I think my book is able to give strength and determination to those who are struggling."

"I want people to read my book with an open mind," she continued. "I also hope my story can reach and help many people."

Never Too Late is currently for sale on Amazon. Portwood, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell will return for a new season of Teen Mom in 2015.
