LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- The X-Files star Gillian Anderson is partaking in yet another sci-fi project -- a new book about a girl who begins having disturbing visions.
Anderson co-wrote A Vision of Fire with New York Times bestselling author Jeff Rovin. The book tells the story of child psychiatrist Caitlin O'Hara as she treats "the daughter of India's ambassador to the United Nations [who] starts speaking in tongues and having violent visions" all while teens and animals from around the word begin hurting themselves and behaving erratically. O'Hara seems to think there's a connection between the two.
