FLORENCE, Italy, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Emma Ferrer bears a striking resemblance to grandmother Audrey Hepburn on the latest cover of Harper's Bazaar.

The magazine's September issue marks the 20-year-old's debut as a model. Ferrer posed for two different versions of the cover; one features her in profile draped in grey feathers, while the other sees her in a classic black-and-white Lanvin gown. The photo spread includes side-by-side pictures of grandmother and granddaughter in similar outfits and poses.

Ferrer was born in 1994, the year after Hepburn died at age 63. The burgeoning model said in the interview she would look at pictures of her grandmother and thinks she "looked like a friend I wish I could have had."

"I've been questioning a lot lately what she means to me," Ferrer shared. "I know her image, of course, and that I happened to be, by pure chance, related to her. But as a child I couldn't really relate to Audrey Hepburn, the actress. To me, she was family."

Ferrer said her favorite movie of Hepburn's is Funny Face, and does not plan to become an actress like her grandmother. She is entering her third year as a ballet student at the Florence Academy of Art, and will move to the academy's new branch in Jersey City in January.
