LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, has vowed to track down War Machine.

The 61-year-old reality star issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the 32-year-old MMA star Monday night, and is now actively seeking the fighter to bring him to justice. Jonathan Koppenhaver, who legally changed his name to War Machine in 2008, is accused of brutally assaulting his girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack.

Mack issued a statement that described the attack Monday, along with graphic photos of her injuries. She said War Machine arrived unannounced at her home late Friday night, and beat her male friend before sending him away. The MMA fighter made Mack undress and shower in front of him before he beat her as well, leaving her with 20 broken bones, missing teeth and a severely ruptured liver.

"I believed I was going to die," she said. "He has beaten me many times before, but never this badly."

War Machine has been imprisoned twice for assault, and asserted Sunday he is "not a bad guy."

"I went to surprise my gf," he claimed on Twitter. "Help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life. The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it's just all heart breaking."

"I only wish that man hadn't been there and that Christy & I would be happily engaged," he continued. "I don't know y I'm so cursed. One day truth will come out."

War Machine has evaded arrest thus far, and has a $10,000 bounty on his head. Chapman starred on Dog the Bounty Hunter for eight seasons on A&E, and currently apprehends criminals on CMT series Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.
