NEW YORK, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- A new Selena Gomez wax figure was unveiled Thursday at Madame Tussauds in New York.

The 22-year-old actress and singer is already the subject of three other figures by the wax museum. The new model depicts Gomez standing with her hand on her hip and her hair loose and wavy. She sports a sheer white top and black shorts, and is accessorized with black boots and a gold chain necklace.

The original Madame Tussauds museum was established in London in 1835. Artist Marie Tussaud began wax modeling in the late 1770s in France, and her original collection included historical figures such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Benjamin Franklin and Madame du Barry. Today, each creation costs $300,000 to make and takes artists months to create.

Gomez starred in films Getaway, Rudderless and Behaving Badly earlier this year, and will appear in Hotel Transylvania 2 in 2015.
