Alexis Bledel, Vincent Kartheiser secretly married in June

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are married.

The 32-year-old former Gilmore Girls star and 35-year-old Mad Men actor secretly wed in June. Bledel's rep has confirmed the marriage, and said the couple exchanged vows in California.

Bledel and Kartheiser met on the set of Mad Men in 2012. The actress guest starred as Beth Dawes, a character who seduces Pete Campbell (Kartheiser), on three episodes of the AMC series. She and Kartheiser went public with their relationship in October 2012, and got engaged in March 2013.

"They're such a yin and yang," co-star Elisabeth Moss told People last year. "I've known Vinny for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I've never seen Vincent like this. It is really cool."

Bledel will next appear in Jenny's Wedding alongside Katherine Heigl. Kartheiser recently wrapped the final season of Mad Men, which premieres in 2015.
