Liam Payne teases conveniently pixilated 'naked' picture of himself

LONDON, July 28 (UPI) -- One Direction's Liam Payne tricked his Instagram followers Sunday by sharing a seemingly naked photo of himself.

In the photo, the 20-year-old singer appears standing shirtless and pant-less on a boat with a square of flesh-colored pixels obscuring his genitalia. Payne captioned the image: "Damn that was my last pair!"

Fans of the British boy band fell into a frenzy after Payne shared the image and created the hashtag #Uncensoritliam, through which they shared their own version of the uncensored photo.

Payne uncovered the mystery himself by sharing the original version of the photo hours later with the title: "I found them never mind aha."
