Sofia Vergara cozies up to beau Joe Manganiello on her birthday

The actors met at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in May when Vergara was still engaged to Nick Loeb.

MALIBU, Calif., July 14 (UPI) -- Sofia Vergara celebrated her 42nd birthday on Thursday alongside her new boyfriend Joe Manganiello and her niece.

The Modern Family star and the True Blood hunk cozied up for a photo during Vergara's birthday dinner at restaurant Nobu in Malibu shared on Instagram by Vergara's niece, Claudia.

Rumors that Vergara was dating the 37-year-old actor began earlier this month after a source told People magazine the two had started to "hang out." The actors met at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in May when Vergara was still engaged to Nick Loeb. Vergara and Loeb ended their four-year on-and-off relationship later that month.
