Ashley Tisdale shows off new 'lob' hairstyle during LA outing

Tisdale recently paired up with Byrdie for a feature on how to style her new haircut, the lob or long bob.

LOS ANGELES, July 8 (UPI) -- Ashley Tisdale stepped out in Studio City Sunday rocking her new lob (long bob) alongside fiance Christopher French.

The 29-year-old actress, who recently paired up with Byrdie for a feature on how to style her new haircut, wore her short tresses wavy and loose for her date with French at The Village restaurant.

A day before the outing, Tisdale made headlines for a Twitter exchange she had with former High School Musical co-star Zac Efron.

"@ZacEfron ur the sweetest! Always remembering my birthday even on vacation :)," she tweeted at the actor after he congratulated her on her July 2 birthday.

Tisdale and French announced their engagement in August 2013 after eight months of dating.
