Ciara debuts dramatic dreadlocks

The 28-year-old singer ditched her glamorous locks for an edgier look.

LOS ANGELES, July 7 (UPI) -- Though there's plenty of celebrities, like Jennifer Lawrence, Whitney Port and Hilary Duff, opting for light, summery bobs, Ciara debuted a heavy-looking set of dreadlocks over Fourth of July weekend.

The 28-year-old singer and dancer, who welcomed son Future Zahir Wilburn last May, usually sports long, wavy hair.

"Back 2 Work and Im Obsessed...:) Thanks @italozucchelli and @CalvinKlein. ❤️ You Guys! Xx," Ciara captioned a photo of her new look on Saturday.

"Attitude," she captioned another snap.
