Brenda Song spotted during workout outing before holiday weekend

The former Disney star made headlines during a gym outing in LA last Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, July 7 (UPI) -- Former Disney star Brenda Song made headlines Monday after being photographed out and about in Los Angeles last Thursday.

The 26-year-old actress appears holding a water bottle in yoga pants, a sweatshirt and a pair of sneakers in the viral photos as she reportedly headed the gym ahead of the Fourth of July festivities.

After rising to fame for playing the clueless heiress London Tipton in the Disney Channel series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Song landed a role in David Fincher's The Social Network in 2010. She returned to TV in 2012 with recurring guest roles in hit series like ABC's Scandal and Fox's New Girl.

Song currently stars in the Fox comedy Dads.
