Kate Bosworth makes her Instagram account public

HELENA, Mont., July 3 (UPI) -- Kate Bosworth surprised fans this week by making her Instagram account open to the public.

The 31-year-old actress opened the account in 2012, but had kept it private until Tuesday.

"I've gone public everyone," Bosworth wrote on Twitter after making the account visible to the public. "Welcome to my official Instagram—come find me x x."

The Blue Crush star has shared six posts on the image sharing site this year, but older photos and videos find her aboard a helicopter, spending time with her husband director Michael Polish, enjoying fashion shows and spending time with friends.
