Tina Fey developing witch movie for Disney

LOS ANGELES, July 2 (UPI) -- Tina Fey is in talks to produce and star in an Untitled Witch Project for Disney.

Tracking Board reported Tuesday that the former 30 Rock star's production company, Little Stranger, was working on a sequel to Bette Midler's 1993 classic, Hocus Pocus.

But a rep told Variety on Wednesday that while Fey's project will involve the supernatural, it won't be a Hocus Pocus 2.

"Their report is not accurate -- Tina is not developing a sequel to Hocus Pocus," the rep said.

Fey will produce the new film alongside Allison Shearmur, who also produced the upcoming Cinderella.
