NEW YORK, June 28 (UPI) -- Mark Wahlberg, father of four, said he dreads the day his daughters start to date.

The actor has two daughters, 10-year-old Ella and 4-year-old Grace, as well as two boys, 8-year-old Michael and 5-year-old Brendan.

"It's not easy," he said of being the parent of four children along with wife Rhea. "But it's how we always pictured things."

"I pray for patience," he told People. "But the kids test me."

"I'm dreading the teenage years with my daughters; it's not going to be easy for them to go on a date," Wahlberg added.

It seems as though he might have had some practice for his upcoming role as an overprotective dad in Transformers: Age of Extinction.
