LOS ANGELES, June 27 (UPI) -- Portia de Rossi allegedly resents her wife Elle DeGeneres' relationship with Colombian actress Sofia Vergara.
Unidentified sources told the American edition of Ok! Magazine via Cover Media that "Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofía" and that the feeling has intensified now that the Modern Family actress has turned to DeGeneres for support following her split from fiance Nick Loeb.
"They have amazing chemistry on TV," the source source said of DeGeneres and Vergara, who often appear together in CoverGirl commercials. "[But] Portia has always thought Ellen was a little too touchy-feely with Sofía, they've fought about it before, but Ellen convinced Portia she was blowing the situation out of proportion and that the women were just good friends."
De Rossi and DeGeneres have been married since 2008. The duo's private relationship has often been portrayed as troublesome in the tabloids, but the the actresses have denied claims of marital trouble.
The May issue of American Ok! Magazine reported De Rossi and DeGeneres were considering having children.
