LOS ANGELES, June 22 (UPI) -- Think Like a Man Too, the sequel to the 2012 ensemble comedy based on Steve Harvey's best-selling advice book, narrowly beat out another Sony sequel, 22 Jump Street, at the weekend box office.

The film, starring Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good and Adam Brody, earned $30 million in its opening weekend, despite poor reviews, thanks in large part to Hart's star power. It opened several million dollars shy of its predecessor, Think Like a Man, which pulled $33.6 million in its opening weekend.
