LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Annie Leibovitz's rep has stepped forward to deny Kanye West's claims that the photographer "pulled out" of shooting his wedding to reality star Kim Kardashian.

Earlier this week the "I Am a God" rapper told reporters in France that Leibovitz decided not to shoot his Italian nuptials one day before the event because "she was afraid of celebrity."

West added that the cancellation ended up costing him and Kardashian four days of their honeymoon time as the reality star spent a long time doctoring the photo before she could share it on Instagram.

In response to West's statements, Leibovitz's rep told TMZ that the rapper doesn't have all the facts about what really happened.

"Unbeknownst to Kanye, she was never confirmed," said the rep. "She would have loved to have taken their wedding portrait and was disappointed it didn't happen."

Leibovitz's, who is famous for her artsy celebrity portraits, previously shot the couple for their controversial spread in the April issue of Vogue.
