LOS ANGELES, June 11 (UPI) -- Adam Levine reportedly wants to make right with his exes ahead of his wedding to Behati Prinsloo.

The 35-year-old singer has issued an apology to some of his ex-girlfriends in order to make amends before his wedding. Levine previously dated models Anne Vyalitsyna and Nina Agdal, and ended his relationship with Agdal in a notoriously poor fashion. Us Weekly relays that the star ignored Agdal's phone calls for weeks, only to announce his engagement to Prinsloo via text message.

"He apologized for how he treated them," a source reveals.

Levine is said to have apologized because he wants to go into his marriage with a clean slate. Another source tells the magazine, however, that the singer's exes aren't as eager to let bygones be bygones.

"They couldn't care less that he wants to make it right," the person asserts.

The singer and Prinsloo, a 25-year-old model, first began dating in May 2012. The couple announced their engagement in July 2013, and plan to marry some time this summer. A third source reports that Prinsloo has inspired a serious change in the former serial dater.

"He may get a tattoo of Behati's name over his heart," the source says. "He wants to make their love permanent on his body!"
