LOS ANGELES, June 9 (UPI) -- Sandra Bullock has gotten an emergency protective order -- a restraining order with immediate effects -- against the man who broke into her Los Angeles home while she was there on Saturday.

Joshua Corbett was arrested at the 49-year-old actress's home on Sunday after Bullock alerted 911 that there was an intruder in her home. The man reportedly entered the home at around 6:30 a.m.

It is unclear whether Corbett was trying to burglarize Bullock's home or if he was there to stalk her as police found no items belonging to actress on Corbett at the time of this arrest. Sources tell TMZ the man does not appear to have had "any history" with the Oscar-winning actress.

According to the celebrity gossip site, protective orders like Bullock's can only be issued if a person "has reason to fear the suspect."

"An intruder was arrested on [her] property this morning," Bullock's rep told People on Sunday. "She is unharmed and is fine."
