LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) -- LeAnn Rimes spoke about how her and her husband Eddie Cibrian's lives revolve around his kids in a Twitter discussion Sunday.

It all began when Rimes commented on a post by user @SirKennyPoo in which she wished the man's daughter good luck on a skating competition and shared that she had "a flight and a bday party for 6 11year old boys."

The 31-year-old singer was referring to Cibrian's son Mason, whose birthday is on Monday, but because Rimes' comments almost always prompt unpleasant responses from the children's mother, Brandi Glanville, user @veryPROUDauntie chimed in with a suggestion.

"@leannrimes I'm not meaning this in a mean way," she wrote. "Do you think a bit of the hate would dwindle, if you were to not mention the kids as much?"

Rimes soon responded with a blunt "no."

"No! They are my life Eddie and my life revolve around them I will not edit myself because of anyone else's childishness," she tweeted seemingly dissing Glanville.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has not yet responded to Rimes' comments, but she did take to Twitter Monday to congratulate Mason on his birthday.

Rimes and Cibrian married in 2011 after having an extramarital affair while shooting the 2009 TV movie Northern Lights.
