NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus tweeted and later deleted that Jennifer Lawrence's story about the two of them running into each other at an Oscar party is not real.

Cyrus' message comes two days after Lawrence appeared in a Late Night with Seth Meyers episode and told the host that she was "in such bad condition" at Madonna's Academy Awards after party, that the singer called her out.

"I look behind me while I'm puking, and Miley Cyrus is there, like, 'Get it together,'" Lawrence told Meyers.

Cyrus tweeted her alleged response to user @OurFemaleRebel and while the singer deleted the message, Twitter user @JZA80lady got a screen grab of the singer's tweet.

Lawrence, known and loved for her off-the-cuff remarks and multiple Oscar falls, is also facing backlash for an alleged rape joke that she made at Cannes this week.

While interviewing for the June issue of Marie Claire magazine, the actress said she was aware that "nobody can stay beloved" forever.
